I remember the movie coming out, and the song, but I don't think I had ever seen the video (no cable or MTV when I was in high school).

Well... I guess this particular one is confirmed (at least on Trek.fm's Babel Conference page) as being defunct.  The video production was cancelled (for whatever reason), and I guess it's not going back to its "roots" as an audio drama?  Let's see if it flies.  Disappointing :-/

We've now moved on to the Movie-Era TOS comic strips.  This on comes from the Motion Picture, which is parodied as "the slow motion picture".  Commentary on this is interesting.  I remember watching the motion picture and I found it odd that they needed to mention the oath of celibacy - It is the future, and starfleet is a military organization (in some part) - why bother? :-/ (original

The Andromeda Initiative website is currently up and active!  This game looks like it's going to be great (and full of lore continuation for in the Mass Effect universe!)

This past week I was looking up musicians from well known bands who had earned some sort of doctorate. I came across Dexter Holland from the Offspring...which immediately reminded me of this song (it's buried somewhere in my iTunes library). Brings back memories ;-)
