Hulu "Hu" video shortening service was an April fool's joke that got me.  It showed up before April fool's (maybe it was 4/1 somewhere when I saw it), and my reaction was "NOPE! not going this sh*t! what kind of product is this?" A day later... I realized it was a joke...

The show ran from 1989 to 1993, which means that I barely missed it when I returned to the US, and no television channel was showing it in Greece prior to that. When I came home yesterday I fired up my xbox 360 to get the new OS update that gives me the Metro style UI. In the grand scheme of things I do like it. I think it's high time that Microsoft looked at its product offerings and designed some consistency (or at least a common theme) across its services. The desktop and Window metaphor is getting a bit stale - it's still useful, but not in all contexts

OK, this was pretty humorous.  In S37E5 of Saturday Night Live we have a skit of the Greek pantheon attempting to tackle the Greek financial crisis...pretty funny! :-)
