The City on the Edge of Forever #5 by Harlan Ellison My rating: 5 of 5 stars More of a review for the entire series than just this one issue. Interesting story. I don't recall if in the episode the substance abuse was so prevalent (or even a factor at all). It's interesting to see the difference between the TV show (guardian of forever/gateway) vs the comic as far as the time travel
