Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research by John W. Creswell My rating: 5 of 5 stars A good primer on mixed methods research. I wish I had made this part of my original reading list last summer when I was conceiving of my (current version for my) dissertation proposal plan.  Mixed methods fits well with one of the reasons  I am using case study research as my approach.

Well, I guess another one bite the dust.  Over the weekend I saw an announcement that Klout - the social media influence measurement tool - had gone to the great binary cloud in the sky.  Klout, whose logo reminded me of a Cyrillic "Zhe" (maybe they were russian spies? ;-) ), took all of your social profile information, it collated the likes, reblogs, retweets, comments, thumbs up (etc?)
