This last weekend I went through and I really spent some time with the anniversary edition of Halo: Combat Evolved. I really wanted to finish the story arc and start Halo 2 (which amazingly seems to run without any issues on the Xbox 360).  The story of Halo seemed quite interesting, and (much to my annoyance) the final sequence was one where you had to drive a warthog (which I hate driving)

Fascinating news from Microsoft, finally pulling an Apple! I am looking forward to the Windows 8 Surface tablet from Microsoft. If it's $500-600 (and it doesn't suck) I am more than happy to spend my own cash for it ;-)

There is a Lord of Shadows 2 coming out, from the looks of it, and Gabriel seems to be the bad guy?! I guess I need to get on it and complete the original Castlevania: Lord of Shadows (which I put aside for Halo) and see what happens!

One of the used games that I got last Christmas, and which I finally completed, was Crackdown. Since iOS 5 came around, I have been without a Jailbreak.  In the grand scheme of things, there are some things that I do miss from the jailbreak, including biteSMS (the ability to send an SMS from anywhere) and LockInfo (which I had paid for). One of the things I noticed with my lack of Jailbreak is that I don't use "2do" as much.  2Do, is a nifty little to-do application on the iPhone

Or...maybe back to the past? Going Retro?  Hmmm... Perhaps going retro is a more appropriate title. In any case, having played Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach and liked the, I decided to read to 4 Halo Books. I read (or rather listened to) Halo Evolutions I, and the first trio of Halo Books (Fall of Reach, The Flood and First Strike)  in audiobook format (thank you library!). I
