This past week I was reminded of Darren Hayes and the song Pop!ular. Not sure what reminded me of it, definitely some random conversationalist at work, but I don't recall how exactly this fits in.  I think it was the white noise beat that someone had in the office.

As a kid I was introduced to these through shareware disks bought at the local Staples office store. It's interesting to hear what happened both before and after my introduction

Well... I guess I'm done with it not in the "I've completed the game" aspect but rather, "I got to a point and got tired of it" :p .  A month or so ago I thought I'd start Bayonetta on the xbox.  Not that I have a ton of time on my hands with the dissertation proposal going on, but hey, it should have been a fun diversion.  In the game you play as...you guess it...Bayonetta. 

MOOCs and Educational Challenges around Asia and Europe by Bowon Kim My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was an interesting overview of MOOC (and some about OER) initiatives in selected Asian countries. It's interesting to see the role that MOOCs and OER take on in different contexts. I did find some issues with some chapters (naming things MOOCs which aren't really MOOCs), but I guess
