This is one from April 2020. I know, it was a long time ago (or so it feels), but I wanted to try this out before my gamepass subscription ended.  On the one hand, I wish I had gotten the Gold renewal when it was dirt-cheap (and then done the $1 gamepass lifehack), but it's been so busy this past year I don't think I would have had much of an opportunity to try anything that came out on gamepass.

Anyway, I think I played for an hour or so to get the gist of this game.  Your player character is a robot (not sure if the robot has a name, but it's the last remaining BOT-C unit), and you get lost in a sandstorm.  The visual was very Tatooine IMO. As you progress through the game you come across a town (named Mirage), which - from what I remember - has some malfunctions and maybe some big bad that needs to be taken out in order for the town to prosper.  So, your unnamed hero is off to fix the town, take out the big bad, and be the hero.  I think that's it in terms of plot.  It reminds me a lot of the plot depth of an early-90s platformer :-)

In terms of game mechanics, the game is a top-down, pinball-inspired, hack-and-slash dungeon crawler. The pinball aspect is what piqued my interest because I haven't seen this mechanic in this type of game before.  The art on the graphics was really different as well (at least for me).

Overall, this was an interesting game, but not enough to make me want to finish it before my Xbox gamepass subscription ended :-). Maybe something to pick up on mega sale.
