I've been going through all of the Star Trek series on Netflix and on Amazon Prime, going through and re-watching (and sometimes watching for the first time) episodes that I had seen a long time ago. Recently I finished the Original Series (wow...it was more campy that I originally remembered!), and all of the original cast movies.  Before I moved on the the Next Generation I decided to go and see what Star Trek Phase II was like.

Phase II is a fan made series (with actual props!) that takes place in the original Trek universe and it's meant to fill in the gaps between the series and the movies. Remember, the original series was a 5 year voyage, but it only had 3 seasons, so I guess there are two seasons worth of episodes in Phase II. I am actually amazed at the quality of the production of this series, and any star trek fan should definitely have a look (especially if you liked the original Trek!).

Now that I've watched this fan series, time to star the last official series on my watch list: The Next Generation.  After that I am toying with the idea of watching some CG based Trek Series such as the hidden frontier and Odyssey.
