Accessible text: The Transportation Commission will meet tonight to review a proposal from my office to integrate dynamic, biologically based traffic calming elements at selected high intensity intersections. Code named “Project Bruce,” the proposal would deploy designated “flocks” across targeted locations. Looking forward to the discussion. A Somerville pilot showed these turkeys to be strong deterrents to right turns on both red and green.
